How To Manifest Your Dreams

These are 10 ways you can use the power of the law of attraction to manifest your dream life or manifest your goals!

 1) Manifest Your Dreams With A Vision Board

Out of all the techniques to manifest your dreams, vision boards are my personal favorite. I’ve had some amazing experiences with the power of the law of attraction using vision boards over the years (you can hear about my vision board stories in the podcast episode above). My vision boards have always worked for me. They have remained a source of creativity and self-inquiry throughout my life.

Below is a video I created for my vision board process.

2) Visualization Meditation

Visualization meditation is another technique you can use to manifest your dreams or manifest your goals. It’s about envisioning in your mind’s eye the success you’re going to have, how it’s going to feel, and putting your body in a state of receivership.

I practice visualization every morning using:

These are the best meditations I’ve found so far. If you would like to read more into visualization meditation and the science behind it, Dr. Joe Dispenza is the guy to go to! He has spent years studying and teaching on these topics. This is one of his books I’d recommend getting started with.

If your budget is tight at the moment then YouTube has a ton of free visualization meditations based around the law of attraction and how to manifest your dream life.

Another meditation I’ve personally tried and enjoyed is your future self meditation. Here is a popular one I’ve found on YouTube

3) Affirmations

Affirmations have been a tool that has become extremely popular to manifest your dreams. Whilst I haven’t used this technique very often, I’ve heard some great stories.

Shakti Gawain, the author I mentioned before, was a big believer in affirmations. She includes them in most of her guided meditations.

Another author who also mentioned affirmations in a lot of her work was Susan Jeffers. Her book Feel The Fear & Do It Anyway contains affirmations throughout.

A simple idea to include daily affirmations in your life to manifest your dreams is to:

  • Write empowering affirmations on sticky notes and put them around the house
  • During your journaling and self-reflection time, write and-rewrite affirmations
  • Use an affirmation app that gives you daily affirmation notifications

These are different ways you can incorporate affirmations to start manifesting your goals.

4) Practicing Gratitude

Another method of practicing the law of attraction to manifest your dream life is by practicing an attitude of gratitude! The idea here is when we are in a state of appreciation and gratitude for all that we have, we feel good and therefore attract more good into our lives!

Practicing gratitude can be done by:

  • Keeping a gratitude journal
  • Keeping a gratitude list next to your bed to write in every night before you go to sleep
  • Practicing a gratitude meditation – one I have personally used is below by Louise Hays

5) Stick photos of your goals up on your walls

An easy technique but a good one is instead of creating a vision board (especially if you don’t have the time to go get all the supplies for it) is to simply google images that you WOULD put on your vision board and get straight to it by sticking them on your wall with a little blue tac.

This is a method I’ve used and it’s JUST as powerful as creating a vision board to manifest your dreams.

This image is one of my actual vision boards/goals on the wall will have to do a DIY job. To hear how this all came true, list to the podcast episode above!

6) Read books on manifestation

If these methods of how to manifest your dreams aren’t working for you then try seeing what’s on there! Look up some books on the topic and see what activities they have in them. All of my personal development work and law of attraction experiences have all been through reading and working through exercises in different materials. Whatever works for you keep! What doesn’t, don’t use!

Here are some quick book recommendations for manifesting your dream life:

7) Create a goals book to manifest your goals

This concept is similar to the vision board but in a book form. It’s an idea that I came across in a book called The Winners Bible.

The author Kerry Spackman shows his technique on how to use the law of attraction to manifest your dream life by using what he calls a winners bible.

In your winner’s bible you keep pages of motivation images (separated by categories) as well as motivational quotes and other lists that Kerry suggests as a tool for empowerment and change.

I have read his book and found it great although I found this strategy wasn’t something I loved. That doesn’t mean it won’t work for you! While you previously needed paper, a printer, and a plastic display folder, there is now an app available! This is only available in the US. This makes it super easy to follow through with Kerry’s technique and also makes it easy to look over constantly as it’s right on your phone!

8) Write your goals then let them go

Out of all the techniques to manifest your dream life, this is probably the most simple. Writing down your goals is a one of the most powerful things we can do for ourselves.

Taking the time to sit down and write out your goals for the present, the near future, and the more remote future is a necessary part of transforming your life. – Jim Rohn

When it comes to writing your goals there are two ways to go about it:

  • Write down a list of the long terms goals you want to manifest and then rip it up or burn it as in to say you’re letting it go and leaving it to the universe (I personally don’t take this approach because I tend to forget what I wrote down!)
  • Write a list of your long term goals and put it away in a drawer to reflect on in a few months time

The idea of writing your goals and letting them go is that we leave it to the universe to manifest. While we still take action, letting it go means we don’t feel the need to control the outcome and we trust that all the right opportunities will come to us.

I love writing down my long term goals and putting them away to review at a later date. It’s fun to see what goals I’ve manifested without even realizing it! This also doesn’t mean that you can keep track of shorter-term goals! This is a personal process I like to use for yearly goals.

9) Create a mind movie to manifest your dreams

This method of manifestation is from Dr. Joe Dispenza. I found it in his book Becoming Super Natural. A mind movie is a vision board movie. You create a movie using all the images you would on your vision board, motivating music quotes and affirmations. Like the Winners Bible technique, you then watch it every day, as often as you want.

The idea here is that like the vision board or Winners Bible, by going over it are we practicing manifesting our dreams by focusing on the things we want, not the things we don’t want.

There is a tool you can use to create a mind movie to manifest your dream life. They also have an app that makes it more accessible!

Again if your budget is tight, this is something you can DIY by using movie maker or any free software that your phone, laptop or tablet might have.

10) Use hypnosis

The final method for using the law of attraction to manifest your dreams or manifest your goals is to use hypnosis. I find hypnosis a great alternative to meditation. If I’ve had a long day and haven’t had time to meditate or use any of the other manifestation methods above, then I listen to an easy hypnosis before bed.

Hypnosis is about putting things into our subconscious mind as we sleep. It can help us create empowering beliefs and ideas.

YouTube is FULL of free hypnosis tracks that you can listen to before bed and while you sleep so you can manifest your dream life while you’re dreaming (pun intended!).
